We’re Nora and Kevin

your elopement photo & video duo.

We’re passionate storytellers here to consciously craft & document your love story with an artist-first approach inspired by connection, courage, life’s in-between moments, and the natural terrain of our home, Texas. We're your companions on this adventure, providing support, understanding, and a lens through which you can relive your cherished memories for a lifetime.

Our journey to becoming storytellers

After documenting big weddings for over six years, we came to the realization that our couples often found themselves rushing through their wedding day, leaving little room for the intimate connection that truly mattered to them. This really struck a chord with us, echoing a sentiment we shared in our own experiences growing up.

We understood the significance of those authentic, meaningful moments, and it fuels our passion for creating a grounded wedding experience where you can be present in every moment to savor your day while we document it in a way that allows you to step back into that moment for years to come.

A Little Background on Me, Nora:

My commitment to filmmaking goes beyond mere passion; it's an integral part of my life.

Having grappled with anxiety since childhood, memories of my young life started to become harder to remember within the rush of time, filmmaking has become my way of overcoming this challenge. Through my lens, I feel empowered to capture and preserve the stories that matter most to me. Now I ground myself in these important moments, embracing the present, and having gratitude for each experience I get to document.

My ultimate goal is to gift couples an enduring memory of their special day, ensuring that every loving word and unspoken promise is preserved with perfect clarity and warmth. So your love can live forever on film, allowing you to never forget exactly how you felt while grounding yourself in the moment.

And for me, Kevin:

Photography has always been vital to my upbringing, an essential thread in the rich tapestry of my family's history.

Guided by my dad's diligent documentary efforts, from snapshots of recitals to photos of us walking down the aisle on graduation day — I learned the value of preserving these precious memories. Though not perfectly framed in some cases, it captured a beautifully authentic human touch that added warmth and charm to the moments when looking back. Each still image encapsulates specific details of those significant moments and family milestones that defined my childhood.

I aim to convey equally powerful, loving, and sentimental stories through my photography — capturing the real, raw, uncut smiles, warm embraces, and genuine laughs between lovers and best friends.

It’s our mission to empower you and your partner to craft a wedding that authentically reflects your unique love story while setting the scene for a wholehearted connection.

We want you to savor your wedding day as if nobody is watching, and preserve these precious memories for years to come.

We understand first-hand how nerve-wracking it can be to go against tradition, but your wedding is yours and yours only, and it’s a day you only live through once. So let us ask you again…

How do you want to remember it?

Desde La Frontera!

Despite being born in two different cities (El Paso & Laredo), growing up as first generations on the border of Mexico and the U.S. provided us with the same adversities and experiences that would shape us into the people we are today.

Right from the beginning, we weren't raised like the average American, nor did we have a traditional Mexican upbringing. Growing up at the Frontera provided a different foundation for us to grow up in, one of which involved our parents raising us to assimilate into the American culture all while still teaching us traditions from our heritage so that we don't forget where we came from. It was definitely a difficult task to balance both cultures, which is where the feeling of being out of place sets in for most of us. The expression, “ni de aquí, ni de allá” (not from here, nor there) will forever ring true to us because we aren’t fully from either side, we’re our own individual blend. The Fronterizo culture that we were raised in is a culture of its own caliber.

Growing up en la frontera

Tradition can bring a feeling of obligation and even guilt when we don’t participate in them.

Kevin and his family sitting in their home's garden in South Texas.

Growing up we got to celebrate traditions from both cultures, eventually learning what felt right and what didn’t. We got the privilege to make decisions that would otherwise be seen as unconventional to our parents’ generation as our culture evolved. However, despite that, we understand the obligatory feeling of needing to follow certain traditions some in our generation might not agree with. So we’ve made it our goal to empower others and ourselves to choose our celebration that’s true to us — free of obligations or guilt by providing a safe space.

Our Fronterizo background is a testament to our commitment to exploration and pushing of boundaries. Our heritage celebrates the seamless integration of various cultures, diverse landscapes, and the adventurous spirit of the couples we document.

This unique background significantly shapes our empathetic approach, allowing us to wholeheartedly embrace the “unconventional” choices couples make for their wedding, fostering an inclusive and safe space that reflects the openness that is inherent in our Fronterizo roots.

Our visit to the trails of Lost Maples State Natural Area marked the beginning of our journey.

With the sun casting its warm glow and the feeling of dirt in our well-worn boots, each step served as a gentle reminder of our appreciation for the great outdoors, exploring the treasures within our own backyard in Texas. And it was through these open spaces, breathing in the fresh air and sharing private moments, that we uncovered the ability to freeze time and capture life's most cherished moments in their purest form.

Within the fun that we were having, we lost track of time and didn’t realize how quickly nightfall came around for the area.

As we turned back to return to our car, we learned a very humbling lesson. We had failed to pack enough water or food, let alone learn any navigational skills, and didn’t bring the appropriate gear needed. We were left to just follow the trail as best we could through the pitch-black darkness with a faulty wind-up lamp and whispers of “we’re almost there”. The silence and subtle noises from the bushes definitely gave us a run for our money, every turn we made we tried to look for trail markers or rock formations along the trail we had seen coming up as a way to reassure ourselves that we were heading in the right direction. Near the end of our trek, an armadillo crossed our path scaring us both. Despite being startled, it was a reminder for us to slow down and to stay vigilant. Thankfully, we eventually made it to the trailhead and to the car where we both laughed in relief that it was all over.

Behind The Armadillo

For this reason, this experience and that armadillo became the catalyst of our obsession with exploring Texas and its trails.

We learned from our experience and have since educated ourselves to become better prepared so that we can feel safe and fully grounded while appreciating these landscapes.

With a certification in Wilderness First Aid, Leave-No-Trace principles, and an officiant ordainment, we create safe spaces to assure you we are ready for your adventure. That armadillo represents the safe spaces we hope to bring to our couples who want to explore these same landscapes using the skills we learned from the experience of that night.

Our Approach

We strive to capture couples' stories in a way that feels completely in alignment with who they are.

To us, your wedding day is so much more than just an event, it’s a heartfelt experience between two people and the journey that got them there.

An experience built on:

Natural Expressions

We wouldn’t ask you to pose in a way that feels unnatural to you. Y’all don’t need to show up “different” for the camera. You already know how to express your love for one another, and that’s exactly what we’re going to capture.

Honest Moments

We’re here to capture genuine in-between moments where a steady gaze conveys more than words ever could. Relive your joy and fall in love with your marriage for a lifetime.

Unfiltered Connection

Real connection with our couples is an integral part of what we do. We want you to know you’re in the company of friends, not just hired hands. Stranger isn’t in our vocabulary.

Section Styles bg-right full-width

Our goal is for your photos and film to spark exactly how you and your partner felt.

Our approach is to capture the genuine moments that unfold throughout the day without disrupting the natural flow of your celebration.

With us by your side, you can fully immerse yourselves in the moment and be present with your partner, celebrating your wedding day in a way that's true to your unique relationship.

Avoid having your wedding day remembered as a blur by having a more grounded experience, where you can genuinely and fully share in the celebration of your love.

And while we understand that an image may never replace a memory, it has the power to stir one.

That’s why there’s nothing more we want to provide than to give you the chance to step back into the emotions that rushed through you on your wedding day, both tomorrow and decades later.

Love Notes

You deserve a wedding experience that celebrates your true self, free of any expectations, judgment, or conformity.

Eloping gives you the freedom to connect, slow down, and craft intentional moments that will be cherished for years. Among the various opinions, societal norms, and expectations, we create a safe space where your choices and vision for a meaningful wedding are heard and supported. We’ll collaborate with you to create a day that allows self-expression, free of judgment and expectations as we document your precious moments, ensuring your celebration is as unique and genuine as your love story.
